Sightseeing in Chicago
We had some friends visiting right after the 4th of July.
We went to the Baha'i House of Worship in Wilmette. It is quite a gorgeous building, and worth a visit, even if it's only a short one. You can spend more time there if you're interested in looking into the Baha'i faith.
We also took the touristy hop up the Hancock Building. The skydeck at Sears Tower is higher, but the Hancock has better views.
We also took an architectural tour on one of the boats that ply the Chicago River. It was an interesting vantage point for viewing the Hancock Building, Sears Tower, Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, plus some of the older converted warehouse space right on the river.
